Dr.Angela Breitmeyer, Psy.D., CMPC

Angela Breitmeyer, Psy.D., CMPC, received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a Sports/Exercise emphasis from Argosy University Phoenix and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with a Child/Adolescent emphasis from the University of Dayton. She has worked in various clinical, medical, and academic settings for over 20 years. Designated as Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), she has been a member of the organization for 16 years. For the past eight years, she has also been a member of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee's (USOPC) sport psychology registry. Dr. Breitmeyer is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Arizona and is currently a faculty member at Midwestern University in the Clinical Psychology department. She is a Level 2 EMDR certified clinician. Beyond contributions to the university, Dr. Breitmeyer serves as a member of the Continuing Education Committee through AASP, as well as the Arizona Trauma Institute Advisory Board. Most recently, she has been appointed to the steering committee for the Network of Hoarding Professionals. Her clinical, professional, and research areas of interest include: the use of creativity in clinical and sport psychology interventions, trauma-informed care, hoarding disorder, positive psychology, holistic wellness, mentorship and training, and teambuilding strategies.
