RESEARCH INTERESTS
My current research focuses on ways to incorporate mindfulness training into health professions education to foster professional resilience. Ongoing studies utilize a multisite design across several healthcare training programs across the country to examine curriculum innovations that incorporate mindfulness and decentering training. This work also examines constructs such as imposter phenomena, professional wellbeing, self-compassion, perfectionism, and tolerance for ambiguity. In addition to professional wellness and resiliency, my research interests involve psychotherapy outcome and process variables, the role of envy in clinicial contexts, and psychological maltreatment and trauma.
