Jeffrey P Maney, Ph.D.

Dr. Maney received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University in 1980, including completion of an internship at Fairfield Hills Hospital in Newtown, CT. He has worked in community mental health, private practice, and general hospital consultation in Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Illinois and continues in part-time private practice. He also worked in managed behavioral healthcare for nearly thirty years providing clinical expertise to health insurance administrators for public and private health insurance, culminating in his position as Associate Medical Director, Federal Health Plans, for Aetna/CVS Healthcare. He served as an adjunct faculty member beginning in 2005 before joining Midwestern as a full-time Assistant Professor in the summer of 2021.  His professional interests include psychological assessment, consultation, and the critical evaluation of treatment processes and outcomes.
