BIO

Connie Natvig, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Lombard, Illinois and she is an assistant professor in Clinical Psychology where she works half-time. Clinical interests include life transition, problems with mood, struggles with eating, and anxiety. She enjoys working with a wide age span with a particular focus in adjusting to a disability or aging. Her clinical style is pragmatic and supportive. Treatment goals are developed together between psychologist and patient. True to her training at Purdue University, she strives to have an evidenced-based practice supported by current research. She works both individually and with families who are struggling. In addition, Dr. Natvig has always enjoyed opportunities to train the next generation of psychologists and therapists. She has worked as a supervisor in a variety of professional contexts including community mental health and private practice.
