Tatiana Vukotic, Psy.D.

Dr. Vukotic is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Training in the Clinical Psychology Program in the Department of Behavioral Sciences at Midwestern University. She teaches the Therapy Practicum Seminar course sequence and has taught courses of directed readings in clinical psychology, existential/humanistic courses, projective assessments, and supervision.  As the Assistant Director of Clinical Training, Dr. Vukotic is involved with advising and mentoring students regarding practicum opportunities, reviewing application materials, and supporting student preparedness for interviewing.  She enjoys journeying with students in support of their dissertations and is eager to involve students on her research team which is currently examining immigration and psychological wellness.  

She received her Psy.D. from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2017. Her clinical training included working within a community mental health center, behavioral health outpatient/inpatient hospital, and university counseling center. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Purdue University Counseling and Psychological Services, and her post-doctoral fellowship at a group private practice in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Vukotic taught several undergraduate and graduate courses as an Adjunct Professor prior to beginning her teaching career at Midwestern University in 2021.

Dr. Vukotic is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and, in addition to teaching, holds an active clinical private practice where she specializes in treating individual, couple, and familial concerns related to complex trauma, multicultural issues, relational dynamics, women's health issues, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and issues related to immigration, for individuals across the lifespan.
