BIO

Dr. Raney received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona in 1996 and then completed pharmacy practice and ambulatory care specialty residencies at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals in Richmond, Virginia from 1996-1998. She served as an Assistant Professor Pharmacy Practice at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy from 1998-2001, before joining the faculty of the Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in 2001. She is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, with a teaching focus in the areas of chronic disease state management and clinical reasoning. She provided collaborative drug therapy management services for cardiometabolic conditions within the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic for over 15 years. She is the Co-Coordinator of the Student Leadership Development Program and Coordinator of the Student Professional Development Program for the College of Pharmacy, Glendale Campus. She is an active contributor to the Habits of Preceptors project, a multidisciplinary continuing professional development platform for clinician educators.
