Dr. Line's research focuses in four areas: the academic chair, programs associated with medically involved children, online education, and water shortages and public health.
Research on the academic chair position revolves around Title IX training, competencies expected of academic chairs, and the evolution of the academic chair position. Research focusing on medically involved children includes the impact of dolphin assisted therapy and community gardens. Research on online and remote education focuses on delivery and alignment of content. Research on water shortages and public health programs looks at the impact of social determinants of health on shortages as well as strategic planning for water shortages.
