BIO

Miriam Carroll-Alfano is a speech-language pathologist and Certified Brain Injury Specialist with over 26 years of experience working with adults with neurogenic communication disorders, head and neck cancer, and swallowing disorders. She serves the profession as the Secretary of the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences, and is a member of the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association Medical Practice Issues Committee and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine Aphasia and Related Disorders Taskforce.
