Marisa Menchola, Ph.D.

Dr. Menchola is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist (ABPP-CN). She obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Arizona and completed a post-doctoral fellowship through the Arizona Alzheimer's Consortium. Prior to joining the Clinical Psychology program at Midwestern University, she was a clinical professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and Banner University Medical Center. While at the U of A, she served as Director of Psychology Training and Director of the APA-accredited Doctoral Psychology Internship program for the Department of Psychiatry, and as Director of the Clinical Neuropsychology Fellowship Program for the Department of Neurology. She is a past-president of the Southern Arizona Psychological Association and the Arizona Neuropsychological Society. She is a Member at Large of the Executive Committee of the American Psychological Asociation Division 40 (Society for Clinical Neuropsychology) and has served in different roles with the Arizona Psychological Association, the Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, Pima Council on Aging, and the Hispanic Neuropsychological Society. Her research and advocacy interests include issues related to aging, psychology training, and the role of psychologists in eliminating health disparities.
