RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests include the following areas hepatobiliary, endocrinology, respiratory tract, infectious diseases, immunologic effects of vitamin D, and several hereditary disorders such as cytochrome b5 reductase deficiency and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I have > 50 journal article publications and authored book chapters in several reference textbooks including Ettinger’s Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Small Animal Gastroenterology, and Clinical Veterinary Advisor. I also lecture nationally and internationally on various topics related to small animal internal medicine
