My teaching philosophy is built around preparing veterinary students to be cofident and competent livestock veterinarians. I work to provide solid foundational knowledge through didactic teaching and incrementally more challenging opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in hands-on labroatory and clinical scenarios. I provide clinical training to veterinary students in both an amulatory and in-house clinical setting. As a clinician and educator, I try to help student develop parctical skills and clinical reasoning in a supportive and safe enviroment.
