BIO
Dr. Jenna Williams received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2017 and completed residency training in Ocular Disease at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center in Michigan. Following residency, Dr. Williams joined Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Optometry and is the Director of Clinical Operations of the MWU Eye Institute and an Associate Professor.
She also serves as the MWU Eye Institute Primary Care Clinic Lead, director of third-year clinical optometry rotations, and attending optometrist to third- and fourth-year students in the Advanced Care/Ocular Disease and Primary Care clinics. Her didactic responsibilities include teaching the Retina and Neuro-ophthalmic Disease courses and assisting with laboratory instruction for various courses.
Dr. Williams has an Advanced Competency in Medical Optometry certification and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and an active member of both the American and Illinois Optometric Associations.
