BIO
Kent E. Irwin, PT, DHS, MS, Professor, received a doctor of health science degree from Midwestern University as well as entry-level and advanced master of physical therapy degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has practiced as a physical therapist in the outpatient, rehabilitation, subacute, and acute care settings. He is a member of the APTA Academies of Acute Care Physical Therapy, Geriatric Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Education. He serves on the Editorial Board for Topics in Geriatric Rehabilitation and is a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy. Dr. Irwin is a Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist Emeritus and an Advanced Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the APTA.
