BIO

Dr. Rachel Piszczor is an Associate Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences, where she serves as the Coordinator of the Child and Adolescent Major Area of Study. She teaches a range of courses dedicated to work with children, adolescents, and families. In addition to her departmental work focused on youth, Dr. Piszczor also emphasizes clinician and student wellness and self-care. She hosts a clerkship for first-year students on program development and outreach related to student wellness, and regularly collaborates with professional groups outside the University to promote wellness within the broader healthcare community.

 

Dr. Piszczor’s research aligns closely with her teaching interests, centering on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), behavioral sleep medicine, and student and clinician wellness.
