BIO
Thomas Dillon, PT, DPT, OCS, Clinical Assistant Professor at Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Iowa and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Midwestern University. He has more than11 years of experience in the out-patient orthopedic setting. He has experience with developing clinics, managing staff, and developing pre-op and post-op therapeutic protocols for hip surgeries. He currently practices at the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic. As a clinical assistant professor he assists with the integration of DPT students into clinic environments with real patient care. He is an adjunct faculty member for several simulated clinic sessions, as well as assists in other DPT curriculum courses. Dr. Dillon is a certified orthopedic specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy specialists. His active research includes use of real time ultrasound imaging, the lumbar multifidus muscle and sacroiliac joint stability. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He is currently enrolled at Andrews University pursuing a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy degree (DSc).
