RESEARCH INTERESTS

Research interests lie within the specific area of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and the populations that require that usage as well as in interprofessional training and teaching and in the areas of autism and speech and language issues. 

Additional research areas include:

Transitioning factors for adult users moving from older speech generating devices to newer speech generating technology
Effective vocabulary design for auditory single switch scanning and two switch step scanning users of speech generating devices
Parent coaching in AAC via telepractice.
Parent coaching in social communication strategies for those with children with autism.
