BIO

Dr. Seth Kress, PT, DPT, DHSc, OCS, is an Associate Professor and Co-Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physical Therapy at Midwestern University, Downers Grove, Illinois. He earned his Master of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University, Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University, and Doctor of Health Science from The George Washington University.

 

Dr. Kress brings over 20 years of clinical experience in hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation, specializing in orthopedic, vestibular, concussion, and amputee rehabilitation. He has developed and implemented concussion rehabilitation programs and has served in multiple leadership and clinical education roles, including Site Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE). Dr. Kress is actively involved in professional service through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Illinois Physical Therapy Association (IPTA), where he currently serves as Chair of the IPTA Clinical Education Special Interest Group (CESIG) and contributes to state and national initiatives in academic-clinical partnership development. As a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor Trainer, he is dedicated to mentoring both students and clinicians in professional practice and clinical reasoning.
