Kimberly Ann Carter, D.M.Sc., PA-C, RD

Kimberly transitioned into academia and joined Midwestern University in 2016. Dr. Carter enjoys didactic instruction, small group facilitation, and peer collaboration while managing the recruitment, retention, evaluation, and management of supervised clinical practice experiences. Dr. Carter's teaching philosophy centers on a learning cycle of action, reflection, and feedback that stimulates intellectual curiosity, encourages active engagement, improves critical thinking, and strengthens communication and collaboration. Self-reflection, self-directed learning, and performance improvement are core values of Dr. Carter's professional practice.
